Kazakhstani companies ready to open their offices in Iran

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani companies expressed their readiness to open their offices in Iran, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yerlan Idrissov informed.

"Our companies are ready to open their offices in Iran, at the crossroads of railways in the territory of the Persian Gulf. Iranian companies, in turn, are ready to participate in development of the infrastructure of our Caspian ports," Y. Idrissov told at the meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran Mohammad Javad Zarif in Astana.

During the meeting, the sides also considered cooperation between the countries in the sphere of agriculture. "The interlocutors also discussed a possibility of cooperation in the sphere of agriculture. There are opportunities for joint production of agricultural products in the territory of Kazakhstan," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan informs.

"We have also discussed our cooperation within the international organizations, such as the UN, CICA and OIC. I would like to stress that we have similar opinions regarding all of the mentioned issues," he said.

Y. Idrissov emphasized that the trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Iran demonstrated a really promising potential. The Road Map and our agreements will only help to increase the growth of the trade turnover between the coutnries.
