Kazakhstani Daukenov claims WBL champion's title at Fight Nights Boxing in Astana

 Kazakhstan’s middleweight fighter Daulet Daukenov (14- 2, 6 KO) competed in the Fight Nights Boxing in Astana, Kazinform News Agency learned from Sports.kz.

 Daukenov faced Argentinian Carlos Cordoba (16-11,4 KO). The fight was scheduled to last for 10 rounds and ended with Daukenov’s win by a split decision of judges.

This became Daukenov’s 15^th win in his professional career. He also won the WBL minor championship belt, and Carlos Cordoba suffered his twelfth defeat in the professional ring.
