Kazakhstani karatekas collect 30 medals at AFK Open Senior Championships
Kazakhstani karatekas won big at the 1st AFK Open Senior Championships in Almaty, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the Kazakh Tourism and Sports Ministry.
Our athletes hauled eight gold, eight silver and 14 bronze medals at the event held at the Baluan Sholak Sports Complex.
Kazakhstan also topped the medal standings leaving behind the Iranian team with 3 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals and the UAE with two gold medals.
The event brought together about 140 athletes from 10 countries, namely Germany, India, Iran, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan and more.
