Kazakhstani Kurash wrestler Bekadil Shaimerdenov wins silver at 19th Asian Games

Kazakhstan's Bekadil Shaimerdenov lost to the Uzbek athlete in the men's 81kg Kurash wrestling final at the tournament held in Hangzhou, China, Kazinform correspondent reports. 

With a total of 28 medals, Kazakhstan takes the 12th spot in the medal standings of the 19th Asian Games. 

The 2023 Asian Games are set to run through October 8.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstani Kurash wrestler Bekadil Shaimerdenov had claimed a quick victory, reached the quarterfinal of the 19th Asian Games.
