Kazakhstani powerlifter breaks a record at Hangzhou Asian Para Games

Kazakhstani David Degtyarev set a record at the now-running Hangzhou Asian Para Games 2023, Kazinform Agency learnt from the Games’ organizers.

Conquering 186kg on his third attempt Degtyarev edged out his rival Yang Jinglang from China by 1kg, and Nguyen Binh An of Vietnam by 2kg. Besides, he broke a new Asian Para Games record and updated his Asian Para Games record in Hangzhou.
