Kazakhstani Putintseva wins North Palmyra Trophies

Kazakhstan’s Yuliya Putintseva in a duo with Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain won in the mixed doubles at the North Palmyra Trophies exhibition team tournament in St. Petersburg, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

They beat Russia’s Anastasia Potapova and Alexander Schevchenko in three sets 4:6, 7:6, 10:1. The match lasted for 1 hour and 28 minutes.

As earlier reported, Putintseva, the country’s second singles player, ranks 68th in the world.
