Kazakhstani roll-up third at the World's Largest Tourism Exhibition “ITB Berlin 2014”
Kazakhstan has won the third place in the international tourist exhibition "ITB 2014" in "Asia, the Pacific and Australia" category. The event was held on March 5-9 in Berlin. The first place went to South Korea and the second place to Malaysia. "ITB Berlin" presented tourism international federations, national and regional tourism organizations, tourism and travel agencies and tour operators, hotels, insurance companies, etc. The exhibition was attended by the representatives from 200 countries. This year, the event brought together over 12 thousand exhibits. According to the words of Marat Yigali, Chairman of the Committee for Tourism Industry MINT: "In the eyes of many experts, ITB Berlin optimally reflects the main trends in the development of international tourism. During the exhibition Kazakh side has signed more than 250 agreements on cooperation with foreign partners including as part of EXPO-2017". Kazakh delegation also participated in workshops, meetings with experts, seminars and round tables for the press.
