Kazakhstani runner David Yefremov finishes his Paris Olympics campaign
Kazakhstani David Yefremov wrapped up his performance at the Paris Olympics, Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Today, August 6, the Kazakh runner vied in Men's 110m Hurdles Repechage Round. Yefremov started in the second heat, where he was disqualified due to false start.
Earlier it was reported that David Yefremov came in seventh in the Men's 110m Hurdles Round 1 – Heat 2 event, clocking the distance in 13.88 seconds.
Kazakhstan’s runner Olga Safronova missed out on Olympic 200m semifinals after finishing last in the repechage heat. Safronova finished sixth covering the distance in 23.70 seconds.
Kazakhstan has so far won four medals, including one gold, one silver and two bronze, at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. The 2024 Olympic Games in Paris are set to run from July 26 through August 11. The Games brought together 10,500 athletes from 206 national Olympic committees. Team Kazakhstan is represented by 80 athletes in 25 sports.
