Kazakhstani speed skater pockets bronze at ISU event in Poland

Kazakhstan’s Arina Ilyachsehenko grabbed bronze medal at the ISU Junior World Cup Speed Skating tournament in Tomaszów Mazowiecki (Poland), Kazinform News Agency cites the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The speed skater claimed Women's 1500m bronze.

The gold medal went to Marlen Ehseluns of Germany, and silver medal was grabbed by Italian Giorgia Aiello.

Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan’s Olga Tikhonova, Yana Khan, Malika Yermek, and Alina Azhgaliyeva snatched bronze in the women's 3,000-meter relay at the ISU Short Track Speed Skating World Tour. Thus, Team Kazakhstan skyrocketed three spots securing 5th standing in the World Tour rankings and earned 142 points.
