Kazakhstani sportsmen won two more gold medals in Guangzhou
BEIJING-GUANGZHOU. November 23. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ Kazakhstani sportsmen won two more gold medals at the Guangzhou Asian Games on Tuesday.
In the men's 120kg Greco-roman wrestling competition Nurmakhan Tynaliyev won gold medal. He defeated Chinese wrestler in the final 3:0.
Women's rugby team won gold medals as well. Our sportswomen beat the Chinese team 17:14.
In the athletic competitions Kazakhstani sportsmen brought home one silver and two bronze medals. Olga Rypakova in the long jump won silver. Sergey Tsygunkov in the high jump and the pentathlon women's team won bronze medals. Dauren Zhumagaziyev in men's 60 kg wrestling was awarded bronze medal as well.
Kazakhstan takes ranked seventh in the standings with 47 medals including 7 gold, 14 silver and 26 bronze medals.
