Kazakhstani sprinter Olga Tereshkova wins gold in Guangzhou

BEIJING-GUANGZHOU. November 22. KAZINFORM /Ruslan Suleimenov/ On Monday Kazakhstani sprinter Olga Tereshkova finished first on the 400 meter running track at the Guangzhou Asian Games. Our counterpart Marina Maslinenko finished third.

Later in the day Greco-roman wrestlers won medals as well. Asset Mambetov won silver losing in the final against Iranian wrestler 1:3. Alkhazur Ozdiev in the battle for a bronze medal beat Chinese Ma Sanyi.

Besides, the men's fencing team won bronze medal.

Kazakhstan takes tenth place in medal standings with 41 medals including 5 gold, 13 silver and 23 bronze ones.
