Kazakhstani students claim 6 bronze medals at IJSO 2023 in Thailand

Six students from Kazakhstan earned bronze medals at the 20th International Junior Science Olympiad 2023 (IJSO) in Bangkok, Thailand, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the press service of the Ministry of Enlightenment.

The IJSO 2023 brought together 311 students from 55 countries of the world.

The competition was divided into three tours in each of which the participants had to solve tasks in three subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

Grade 9 student Batyr Yerzhanuly from Ust-Kamenogorsk, Grade 9 student Altair Akanov from Astana, Grade 8 student Dariya Bekturssyn from Pavlodar, Grade 9 student Daniyar Bazarbai from Aktobe, Grade 8 student Iliyas Kazymbek and Grade 8 student Ivan Rudik from Pavlodar took home bronze medals.
