Kazakhstani stuns in Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships opener

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Zarina Diyas has advanced to the second round of the WTA's Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2015, Kazinform has learnt from Sports.kz.

In the first-round match Diyas needed 1h 8min to route 20-year-old Annika Beck in two straight sets 6:2, 6:2. The Kazakhstani hit one ace and made three double faults, whereas the German athlete served no aces and made only one double fault. In the next round Diyas will play against another German tennis player Andrea Petkovic.
