Kazakhstani tennis player slides 43 spots down in ATP rankings

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Kazakhstani tennis player Evgeny Korolev has slumped in ATP rankings, losing 43 (!) positions. According to the updated rankings, Korolev is now №442, Kaziform refers to Vesti.kz.

Unlike Korolev, Mikhail Kukushkin representing Kazakhstan improved his standing in the rankings. His result at Indian Wells, where he succumbed to Spaniard Feliciano Lopez in the third round, placed him at №56 of the rankings. Kazakhstan's Andrey Golubev remained at №70, whereas Olexandr Nedovyesov rose to №78. There was a shakeup among the top positions of the rankings. Roger Federer climbed back into the top 5 of the ATP rankings. After reaching the Indian Wells semifinal, the 17-time Grand Slam champion returned to №5. Juan Martin del Potro and Tomas Berdych both fell in the rankings. Rafael Nadal is still world's №1.
