Kazakhstani tourists rescued from snowdrift in Issyk-Kul district
A car with Kazakhstani tourists got trapped in a snowdrift in Issyk-Kul district of Kyrgyzstan, Kazinform News Agency reports via the Kyrgyz Emergencies Ministry.
A family of five people arrived in Kyrgyzstan to rest in Karakol mountain ski resort. All of them are the citizens of Kazakhstan, the Ministry said.
Four rescuers of the Ministry’s 7th mobile rescue troop and two rescuers of Ak-Suyuk district division arrived at the scene to help the trapped tourists.
The condition of the tourists is evaluated as stable. They will remain in Karakol town until the weather stabilizes.
