Kazakhstani with big batch of marijuana detained at Kazakh-Russian border
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - A citizen of Kazakhstan was detained at the Kazakh-Russian border, he tried to smuggle a big batch of narcotic substances, the Border Guard of the NSC of Kazakhstan informs.
The border patrol of "Ube avto" checkpoint detained a 36-year-old, a citizen of Kazakhstan, with 9.5 kg of marijuana.
"The detainee was driving Mercedes-Benz with a trailer equipped with a 60 liters barrel where he tried to hide the narcotic substance to smuggle," the statement reads.
The investigation is underway.
