Kazakhstani woman awarded credit certificate in New York

ASTANA. March 18. KAZINFORM The Society of Foreign Consuls (SoFC) awarded the representatives of foreign diasporas with the credit certificate, the press service of the General Consulate of Kazakhstan in New York informs.

Representatives of Cyprus, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Uruguay and Uzbekistan were awarded the credit certificates. On behalf of Kazakhstan Dana Kapparova received a honorary reward.

The ceremony was attended by the SoFC leaders, reps of the U.S. State Department, general consuls of foreign states and more than 150 guests.

The tradition of the annual award for contributions to the development of diasporas and contributions to the promotion of bilateral relations was founded on the initiative of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in New York three years ago. Each year the ceremony is becoming increasingly popular.
