Kazakhstani wrestlers at London-2012: Gajiyev, Kebispayev hope for bronze

LONDON. August 6. KAZINFORM Kazakhstan set high hopes on Danyal Gajiyev, a wrestler from Kazakhstan, who tried to down a formidable foe Alan Khugayev from Russia.

Unfortunately, Danyal lost to the Russian wrestler in Men's 84kg Greco-Roman Quarterfinals.

Another Kazakh wrestler Almat Kebispayev who has stunned fans at the 2012 London Olympics today got into quarterfinals by beating Luis Ygnacio Liendo from Venezuela in Men's 60kg Greco-Roman 1/8 Finals. But his luck let him down when he faced Omid Haji Noroozi from Iran in the quarterfinals.

Danyal Gajiyev and Almat Kebispayev still have a chance to win bronze, since their opponents have made it to the final.
