Kazakhstani Zangar Nurlanuly wins J100 Aizkraukle 2024 tournament in Latvia

Kazakhstani Zangar Nurlanuly, ranked 77th in the ITF junior rankings, beat Dutch player Hidde Schoenmakers (ranked 165th by ITF Juniors) at the J100 Aizkraukle tournament final in Latvia, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

The final round ended with a score of 6:3, 6:2.

Last year, at the same tournament, Zangar Nurlanuly also reached the final, but unfortunately lost to his opponent.

This became the third ITF Juniors title for 16-year-old Zangar in 2024 and the fifth in his career in singles. 

Earlier, it was reported that Kazakhstani Zhibek Kulambayeva stormed into the ITF United Arab Emirates 01A doubles quarterfinals.
