Kazakhstani Zarina Diyas down in WTA Singles Rankings

Kazakhstani tennis player Zarina Diyas moved down two spots in the updated WTA Singles Rankings, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

Zarina Diyas of Kazakhstan dropped two spots occupying the 383rd line of the updated WTA Singles Rankings. It should be noted that Kazakh tennis players including Elena Rybakina (ranked 6th), Zhibek Kulambayeva (ranked 328th), and Anna Danilina (ranked 895th) lost their positions as well. The only Kazakh athlete Yulia Putintseva retained her spot landing the 29th position.

Zarina Diyas participated in her last match at the 2024 Jiangxi Open in China held on October 28. The Kazakh athlete failed to propel to the second round of the tournament. Diyas lost to Jessica Bouzas Maneiro in two sets with a score of 4:6, 2:6.
