Kazakhstanis keep traveling to Türkiye despite rising costs
Kazakh tourists keep travelling to Türkiye despite rising costs, Kazinform News Agency learned from the First Credit Bureau.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, from June to August, citizens of Kazakhstan entered this country 440,400 times, which is 7% more against the same period in 2023. This is also the highest figure for the summer since 2014.
The rise in prices for Turkish resorts this year was significant. In June, vouchers went up by 28.5%, in July - by 35.5%, and in August - by 39.3%. However, despite the rise in price, Kazakhstanis prefer to travel to Türkiye.
It should be noted, these data do not reveal the purpose or the duration of the Kazakh citizens’ stay in Türkiye. However, according to the last year’s statistics, Antalya remains the most popular destination for the nationals of Kazakhstan.
