Kazakhstan's Air Force receives new military aircraft from Spain
The load-lifting capacity of the A-400M military transport aircraft, designed for the transportation of personnel, heavy cargo, equipment and for carrying out humanitarian operations, is 37,000 kilograms, Kazinform News Agency learned from the press service of the Defense Ministry.
The aircraft’s maximum speed is 802 kilometers per hour, flight altitude is 12,200 meters and operational range is 7,870 kilometers.
Aircraft commander, lieutenant colonel Assylbek Zhumabayev reported to the Minister of Defense, Ruslan Zhaksylykov, on safe arrival from Spain to the permanent deployment site.
The minister thanked the representatives of Airbus Military for close cooperation and active involvement in training Kazakhstani professionals at the International Aviation Training Center in Seville.
“The flight and engineering personnel underwent theoretical retraining in the management and maintenance of aircraft within the prescribed time limits. The representatives of the concern provided us with the necessary technological information on maintaining the aircraft,” he said.
The cooperation with the Airbus Military was established in 2013, when Kazakhstan bought C-295 aircraft successfully operated by the Air Forces of Kazakhstan today.
