Kazakhstan’s annual production of agricultural machines to total KZT300bn next year
Kazakhstan’s annual production of agricultural machines stands at 263 billion tenge, with the figure set to reach 300 billion tenge in 2025, Kazinform News Agency cites primeminister.kz.
The country has eight facilities manufacturing tractors and combine harvesters, thus fully meeting the domestic demand, as well as 20 more facilities producing trailed and mounted agricultural machinery.
Kazakhstan also established manufacturing processes such as wielding, cutting, bending and painting for home-made tractors, combines as well as trailed and mounted agricultural machinery.
The country eyes manufacturing of grain bins, inclined chambers, grinders and combine cabins starting next year.
The country’s largest agricultural machinery localization center in Kostanay city produces annually 25,000 assemblies, units, components and spare parts for agricultural machinery and automatic industry.
According to the Agriculture Ministry of Kazakhstan, Deere & Company, Kazakhstan’s Eurasia Group and the Baiterek Holding signed a memorandum, aimed at expanding John Deere’s presence in Kazakhstan through cooperation in assembly.
As the data from KazAgroFinance shows, as of October 1 this year, Kazakhstan sold 8,796 units of agricultural machinery, a 52% more compared to the given period of last year (5,795).
Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan seeks to export a record of 250 million US dollars worth of oil and fat products to China in the 2024/25 marketing year.
