Kazakhstan's Bibisara Assaubayeva wins Aeroflot Open 2024 festival

Kazakhstan’s Bibisara Assaubaeva took first place at the Aeroflot Open 2024 chess festival held in Moscow, Kazinform News Agency learned from the Ministry of Tourism and Sport.

The competition brought together chess players with FIDE rating points of 2300 as well as players aged under 15 years.

Kazakh team also included Kazbek Nogerbek who took 18th place, Danial Sapenov (21st),

Ramazan Zhalmakhanov (38th), and Alisher Suleimenov (65th).

A total of 500 players competed in the tournament.
