Nurbek Oralbay of Kazakhstan beat Dominican boxer Cristian Pinales by a 3-2 split decision in the 80kg bout in the semifinal of the Paris Olympics.

The Kazakhstani is to take on the winner of the bout Ukrainian Oleksandr Khyzhniak vs Cuban Arlen López in the men’s 80kg final match.

Previously, Kazakhstan’s boxer Nurbek Oralbay beat Murad Allakhverdiyev from Azerbaijan by a 5-0 unanimous decision in the men’s 80kg event in Round of 8 of the ongoing Olympics.
