Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina talks health, plans for future

World No. 4 Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan has opened up about her current health condition and plans for the near future, Kazinform News Agency reports.

"Naturally, I am experiencing some fatigue. I have identified areas for improvement with my physiotherapist," Rybakina stated following her match against Barbora Krejcikova in the Wimbledon’s semifinals.

She admitted that she feels much better now.

"Overall, I am pleased to report an improvement in my condition compared to a few weeks ago. I am satisfied with the progress I have made," the Kazakhstani athlete stated.

Rybakina is currently engaged in preparations for her participation in the upcoming 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, and has provided details of her immediate future plans.

"We are planning to take a couple of days off before commencing preparations for the Olympics," she said.

It is worthy to mention that Elena Rybakina was defeated in the semifinals of the Wimbledon tournament in London by Barbora Krejcikova of the Czech Republic.
