From the top of Lycabettus, the highest of the seven peaks surrounding Athens, opens up the most colourful and extensive panorama of the Greeсe’s capital.

Greek legend says that Mount Lycabettus was created by the goddess Athena, who dropped a stone on this spot on her way to the Acropolis. In ancient times, the hill was the site of a temple of “Zeus dwelling on the summit”. Lycabettus is also called «Wolf Mountain», as the name in Greek means “the grove where wolves live”.

The raising of the Kazakhstan’s flag on an ancient and sacred place for Greeks symbolises the friendship between the Greek and Kazakh peoples.

The unique congratulation was organised by the Kazakh-Hellenic Business Council, whose main mission is to promote cooperation between the countries in the spheres of trade, investment and culture.
