Kazakhstan’s Gorodko becomes three-time world champion in Freestyle Moguls

Kazakhstan's Anastassiya Gorodko won gold at the FIS Freestyle Junior World Ski Championships in Almaty, Kazinform News Agency reports.

According to the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Gorodko outperformed her opponents in the dual moguls event. She defeated American Reece Chapdelaine. Another American Abby McLarnon settled for bronze.

Recall that Anastassiya Gorodko secured a silver medal in singles event.

Gorodko took three awards at the World Cup in 2022. She won the competition in dual moguls, and also became 2nd in the individual standings and in the mixed team event.

On top of that, the Kazakhstani athlete took 1st place in singles moguls and 2nd in dual moguls at the World Championships in 2024.

Earlier Kazinform News Agency reported that Team Kazakhstan has announced flagbearers for 2025 Winter University Games in Torino.
