Kazakhstan’s Kukushkin secures win at ATP 250 Brisbane International qualification

World No. 113 Mikhail Kukushkin of Kazakhstan cruised into the main event of the ATP 250 Brisbane International Tennis Tournament in Australia, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.

Kazakhstan’s Kukushkin defeated world No. 168 Tristan Schoolkate of Australia with a score 6:4, 6:4 in two sets.

His next opponent for the first round of the tournament will be determined later.

As earlier reported, Kazakh chess player Bibisara Assaubayeva had secured four victories and seven draws at the FIDE World Rapid Championships 2024 in New York to score 7.5 points in 11 rounds.
