Kazakhstan's lamb exports to Qatar increase by 75%

A business mission of Kazakhstani exporters was held in Doha, the capital of Qatar, Kazinform News Agency has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Trade.

The ministry indicated that trade turnover between Kazakhstan and Qatar reached $6.2 million for 2024. One of the most notable achievements was a substantial increase in lamb exports from Kazakhstan to Qatar, which grew by 75%.

The event comprised B2B meetings, attended by 30 companies from Kazakhstan and Qatar, representing pivotal economic sectors, including agriculture, agro-industry, industry, and information technology.

The talks encompassed the prospects of creation of effective logistics channels for the delivery of Kazakhstani goods to the market of Qatar and other Middle Eastern countries.

It was previously reported that Kazakhstan and Qatar intend to collaborate in the sphere of military training.
