Kazakhstan’s Lomakin claims 3rd ITF doubles title this season

Kazakhstani Grigoriy Lomakin claimed the third ITF M15 Sharm Elsheikh doubles title of this season in Egypt, Kazinform News Agency cites the Kazakhstan Tennis Federation.

Paired with Russian Evgeny Philippov, Lomakin lifted the ITF doubles title after defeating Italian Tommaso Compagnucci and Serbian Viktor Jovic in straight sets 6-2, 7-5 in the final.

On their way to the title, the top-seed Kazakh-Russian duo eliminated German Karlo Cubelic and British Giacomo Revelli and Indian Theertha Shashank Macherla and Belgian Thorben Sannen.

Lomakin hauled a total of 20 ITF doubles titles throughout his sports career.
