Kazakhstan’s meat shipments jump by 50,000 tons in 2024
Kazakhstan’s meat exports in 11 months of 2024 reached 73,000 tons, marking a significant rise from 50,000 tons in the previous year, Kazinform News Agency correspondent reports.

According to the country’s agriculture ministry, the export of beef meat stood at 19,700 tons, lamb – 15,000 tons and poultry – 38,000 tons, while shipments of horse and pork meat were put on hold (20,000 tons in 2023).
Uzbekistan, Russia and Kyrgyzstan round out the top 3 importers of meat from Kazakhstan, with 19,900, 19,300 and 8,000 tons, respectively.
Kazakhstan’s beef exports to Uzbekistan stood at 18,600 tons, Tajikistan – 490 tons and Iran – 298.4 tons in 11 months of last year.
The top three exporting countries of lamb meat from Kazakhstan are Uzbekistan – 11,900 tons, Iran – 1,014 tons and the UAE – 1,130 tons.
Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan emerged as major importers of poultry from Kazakhstan – 24,100, 11,000 and 1,300 tons.
Earlier it was reported that Kazakhstan would ramp up its wheat and meat exports to Europe through Russia.
