Kazakhstan's No 1 in Top-30 of ATP rankings

Seven Kazakh tennis players have improved their positions in the updated ATP rankings, Kazinform News Agency reports citing Sports.kz.

Alexander Bublik ranks now 30^th in singles having climbed up by six spots. Beibit Zhukayev stands 245^th after gaining four spots. Islam Orynbassar is 1223^rd (+6), Arslanbek Aitkulov is 1267^th (+6), Alexey Nesterov is 1500^th (+5) and Maksim Batyutenko is 1780^th (+2).

As for doubles, Andrey Golubev moved five positions up and now ranks 57^th, while Alexander Bublik skyrocketed by 28 lines and is 222^nd now.

As reported, on Sunday, October 22, Bublik won the European Open tournament in Antwerpen, Belgium, after beating French player Artur Fiss (ranked 38th)  singles finals  with a score of 6:4, 6:4.
