Kazakhstan’s Putintseva skyrockets in WTA Singles Rankings after Australian Open
Kazakhstani tennis player Yulia Putintseva landed a new spot in the updated WTA Singles Rankings after the 2025 Australian Open, Kazinform News Agency cites Sports.kz.

Kazakhstan’s Putintseva is up three spots securing 20th position in the updated WTA Singles Rankings, setting a new personal record. Earlier, Yulia occupied 23rd line, which was her highest ranking.
The Kazakhstani athlete is ranked 104th in the Doubles Rankings. Her best result so far is the 90th place, which was achieved in September 2024.
Recall that Yulia Putintseva was defeated by Daria Kasatkina of Russia in the third-round match of the Australian Open 2025.
As reported earlier, Kazakhstani Yulia Putintseva and China’s Wang Xiyu have failed to secure a spot in the ladies’ doubles. The duo lost to Chinese pair Zheng Saisai and Wang Xinyu from China at the 2025 Australian Open Round 1.
