Kazakhstan’s Ruslan Talas 2nd at int’l violin competition in Germany

Kazakhstani Ruslan Talas took second place at the 2nd Stuttgart International Violin competition Guadanini Foundation in Germany, Kazinform News Agency cites the press service of the country’s culture and information ministry.

South Korean Anna Im took the first place and American Matthew Hakkarainen was third.

25-year-old Ruslan Talas, also known as Kazakhstani Paganini, was the winner of the World Vision International Competition 2022.

Ruslan is a graduate of the National Music Academy in the Kazakh capital, Central Music School in Moscow. He also holds a master’s degree from the Lausanne Music Academy in Switzerland.
