Kazakhstan’s Rybakina, Shevchenko to compete at World Tennis League 2024 in Abu Dhabi

The World Tennis League 2024 is set to run in the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi on December 9-22, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.

It will be attended by two representatives of the national team of Kazakhstan.

Two Kazakh tennis players including Elena Rybakina and Alexander Shevchenko are to participate in the tournament.

Rybakina will play for the team Falcons, and Shevchenko got into the Eagles.

Team Falcons includes Andrey Rublev (Russia), Denis Shapovalov (Canada), Elena Rybakina (Kazakhstan), Caroline Garcia (France).

Team Eagles includes Alexander Shevchenko (Kazakhstan), Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece), Iga Swiatek (Poland), Paula Badosa (Spain).

Team Kites includes Nick Kyrgios (Australia), Casper Ruud (Norway), Simona Halep (Romania), Jasmine Paolini (Italy).

Team Hawks includes Jordan Thompson (Australia), Sumit Nagal (India), Mirra Andreeva (Russia), Aryna Sabalenka (Belarus).
