Kazakhstan’s Rybakina stable in WTA Singles Rankings
Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan retained her 5th spot in the updated WTA Singles Rankings this week after reaching the China Open semifinals, Kazinform cites Sports.kz.
Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus tops the WTA Singles Rankings with 9480 points. Coming in second is Pole and 2023 China Open winner Iga Swiatek with 8890 points. American Coco Gauff rounds out the top 3 with 6.455 points.
It bears to remind that in Beijing Elena Rybakina stunned world №1 Aryna Sabalenka, but then lost to Russian Lyudmila Samsonova. Samsonova climbed to the 16th spot in the WTA Singles Rankings after reaching the Beijing Open final.
Another Kazakhstani Yulia Putintseva dramatically improved her standings by moving seven spots up to №68.
Belgian Elise Mertens tops the WTA Double Rankings this week. She is followed by Australian Storm Hunter at №2. American Coco Gauff is third.
Anna Danilina of Kazakhstan retained the 32nd spot in the Doubles Rankings. Elena Rybakina and Zhibek Kulambayeva are placed 116th and 154th, respectively.
