Kazakhstan's Security Council Secretary, CSTO Sec Gen meet

Secretary of the Security Council of Kazakhstan Gizat Nurdauletov has met with Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov, Kazinform Agency reports via Akorda.

The sides exchanged views on the current situation in the CSTO responsibility area and discussed a wide range of issues on the key issues of cooperation within the Organization.

Imangali Tasmagambetov informed Gizat Nurdauletov on the course of preparation for the upcoming session of the CSTO Collective Security Counsil and the joint meeting of the Foreign Ministers’ Council, Defense Ministers’ Council and the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils slated for November 2023.

Gizat Nurdauletov confirmed Kazakhstan’s participation in the regular joint meeting of the Foreign Ministers’ Council, Defense Ministers’ Council and the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils in Minsk.
