Kazatomprom ready to start uranium supply to China : M. Dzhakishev

ALMATY. February 3. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ China will become the largest market for nuclear energy in future, head of ?Kazatomprom? National Nuclear Company Mukhtar Dzhakishev has expressed this view today in Almaty, Kazinform reports.

According to M. Dzhakishev, in accordance with previous agreements, the supply of natural uranium to China are already being implemented. However, the Head of Kazatomprom noted there is a big list of permission procedures for the delivery of final products, which require a certain amount of time. He also informed that Kazatomprom has already created joint venture with the China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation on two deposits ? Irkol and Semizbay, where 51% belongs to Kazakhstan and 49% - to China.
