Kazinform photographer’s works named best in Phoenix Cup international competition in China
The 4th International Horse Photography Competition "Phoenix Cup" was held in Xilinhot City in China. Two works by Kazinform News Agency’s photographer Maksat Shagyrbay were named the best in two nominations.
The competition was organized by the Photographer Branch of China Horse Industry Association and Xilinhot Equestrian Industry Development Center. The goal of the competition is to contribute to the development of horse industry and the pictures with horses.
The competition has been held since 2017.
One of Maksat Shagyrbay’s works won in the Documentary Photography nomination, and the second one was named the best in the Fine Art Photography category.
