Kazkosmos delegation attended Dubai Airshow Intl exhibition

DUBAI.  November 19. KAZINFORM  /Sara Kabikyzy/ Within a working visit to the United Arab Emirates a delegation of the National Space Agency of Kazakhstan headed by its Chairman Talgat Mussabayev has taken part in  Dubai Airshow 2009 XI International Space Exhibition.

At the opening of the event Ambassador of Kazakhstan to the UAE Askar Mussinov introduced T. Mussabayev to Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, Sheikh of Dubai Emirate Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. "Talgat Mussabayev is not only the Chief of Kazkosmos and cosmonaut who took three space flights, but he is the first Muslim who took Quran with himself to the orbit", he noted.

The delegation which consisted of representatives of the Kazakh enterprises and organizations of space development sphere visited exhibition pavilions of Dubai Airshow and held a number of meetings.

The exhibition covered the area of 325 513 sq m and is held in new halls of an exposition centre of the Dubai Airport.

About 900 companies from 47 countries of the world are participating in Dubai Airshow. The results of the event will be voiced today evening.
