Kazphosphate ships first batch of export phosphor to India

KAZINFORM - "Kazphosphate" LLP has shipped to India more than a thousand tons of phosphor.According to the general director of "Kazphosphate" Mukash Iskandirov, Zhambul chemists expand the number of countries to which to export Kazakh yellow phosphor. "This is a test batch to 1060 tons", says M.Iskandirov. "The Indian domestic market for chemical products has always been attractive by its long-term prospects. However, the limiting factor was the transit through several countries, making export to this country economically viable. "

Now Zhambyl phosphor will go by rail to the Baltic Sea, where by sea to the Indian consumers. It is planned in the future to increase the volume of exports to 6.8 million tons per year.

In 2013 export volume of "Kazphosphate" LLP increased by a third. "95 percent of our products are exported to 30 European countries, providing stability and modernization of production, and the growing number of jobs. In the first half we have released the output for more than KZT 31 billion. In general, this year into the modernization of production we are investing more than KZT 17 billion. Thus, we are solving one of the key objectives of the "Strategy 2050" for progress of the domestic chemical industry ", said the head of Kazakhstan's largest companies.

Zhambyl "Kazphosphate" LLP today is a major producer of Kazakhstan in 20 kinds of chemical products - yellow phosphorus, sodium tripolyphosphate, fertilizers, feed phosphates and others. The company, founded in October 1999, employs six thousand people. Over the years produced goods are worth of about KZT 300 billion. The head office of "Kazphosphate" LLP is located in Almaty, the main production facilities are located in Zhambyl region.
