KazTransOil JSC raised oil transportation by 3% in 2010

ASTANA. January 12 KAZINFORM /Serik Sabekov/ KazTransOil JSC has announced the results of its work in January-November 2010.

According to the company's press service the volume of oil transportation via its main pipelines in the abovementioned period made 47 mln 879 thousand tons. In comparison with the same period in 2009 the volume of oil transportation rose by 1 mln 519 tons or 3%.

Freight turnover by the system of the Company's main pipelines made 31 bln 202 mln tons per a km over this period having increased by 2% compared to 2009.

Transportation of Russian oil via a section of TON-2 pipeline located in the territory of Kazakhstan made 5 mln 54 thousand tons.

Oil transportation by the main pipelines of KazTransOil JSC to the country's oil refineries has been increased too. Thus, over 11 months of 2010 the volume of oil delivered to the oil refineries of Kazakhstan made 11 mln 568 thousand tons that is 17% (1 mln 688 thousand tons) higher against the same period in 2009.
