KazTransOil to distribute 40% of 2012 net profit among shareholders

ASTANA. March 18. KAZINFORM 33.5 billion tenge - 40% of KazTransOil JSC profit last year will be distributed among shareholders as dividends.

Vice Prime Minister Kairat Kelimbetov and CEO of "Samruk-Kazyna" National Welfare Fund" Umirzak Shukeyev announced at a press conference in Astana on Monday.

"That sum was defined by the Board of Directors prior to the placement of shares. Following the results of 2012, KazTransOil JSC made 33.5 billion tenge of net profit. 40% of this sum is to be distributed among shareholders as dividends. The Board of Directors is expected to make the decision on the percentage of profit to be shared annually," Mr. Shukeyev explained.
