Kazykhanov proposes establishing Foreign Policy Council and KazAID specialized agency

ASTANA. December 13. KAZINFORM Work to attract investment remains a key activity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the state program of economic modernization, Kazakh Minister of Foreign Affairs Yerzhan Kazykhanov said at a meeting with heads of foreign institutions in Kazakhstan on Tuesday in Astana.

We are studying the issue of establishing a foreign policy council under the aegis of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The council will be an alternative expert platform to improve the analytical work and study new foreign policy initiatives, the minister said.

Kazykhanov also proposed to establish a specialized agency KazAID.
