KBTU students become the best in the world: University of London examinations results
Thus, a 4th year student of the KBTU ISE M.Erkebulan was the best in the world in “Elements of Econometrics” subject. She gained 92 points out of 100, and H.Galimova was a frontrunner in “Economics of Labour” subject gaining 90 points.
54,000 students from 180 countries take University of London exams every year. University of London International Program is a remote program for undergraduate. It gives the opportunity to students all over the world to get a degree of this university without leaving their country. Students get knowledge on their own using books and Internet.
Every year in May, students take exams at the British Council of their country in the same day and hour throughout the world. Examination papers are sent to the UK for testing at the University of London. So, exam results in Economy and Finance are checked by professors of London School of Economics (LSE). About 20% of the University of London students get education on this program independently, 80% of the students manage to do it in specialized centers, the largest of which are located in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Moscow.
KBTU MSE is the only such center in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
