Keen frost to grip Kazakhstan

A bitterly cold weather continues to blanket Kazakhstan that will cause a further temperature decrease throughout the country over the next three days, Kazinform News Agency cites Kazhydromet.

The northwestern cyclone will continue its impact on the eastern and southeastern regions of the country as snowfall expected in those areas. Other parts of the country are expected to experience weather with no precipitation. Blizzard, black ice, fog, and gusty winds are anticipated across the country.

Temperature will decrease to -20-30°C at night in the northern part of the country, -35°C in some areas, while the temperature will hover around -13-20°C at daytime, -20-35°C in the center and east, -15-25°C in the south, and -5-15°C during the day.

As reported earlier, Kazakhstan’s south is forecast to see frosts and snowstorms in the coming days.
