KHL: Coach Andrei Nazarov to stay at Barys

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Russian coach Andrei Nazarov is to stay with HC Barys Astana for another season, Vesti.kz informs.

The Board of Trustees of the club made a decision to extend Nazarov's contract for the upcoming 2015-2016 season. The Astana-based club was ranked 5th in the Eastern Conference of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) and reached the first round of the Gagarin Cup playoffs. "Members of the Board of Trustees were satisfied with the results Barys demonstrated in 2014-2015 season and made the decision to keep head coach Andrei Nazarov," the club's official spokesman said.
