Kiev held reception on occasion of 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan's independence

ASTANA. December 10. KAZINFORM About 600 guests have participated in a reception organized in Kiev by the Kazakh Embassy in Ukraine on occasion of the 20th anniversary of independence of Kazakhstan; the Kazakh MFA's press service reports.

Ukrainian outstanding public and political figures, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada, heads of ministries and departments, heads of diplomatic missions, representative of business circles as well as Kazakh Diaspora participated in the event.

Kazakh Deputy Minister of Foreign AffairsA.Zhumabayev named main success and achievements of our country in the democratic and economic reforms under leadership of President Nursultan Nazarbayev.

He handed over "20^th anniversary of independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan" jubilee medals to outstanding public and political figures of Ukraine, who made great contribution to strengthening and development of bilateral Kazakh-Ukrainian relations.

The guests wished the Kazakhstani people further prosperity and stability.
