Kiev interested in opening Belarusian trading house
Kiev Vice Mayor underlined that Belarusian products have always been valued by Ukrainian customers for their quality and reliability, be it Horizont TV sets, MTZ tractors, MAZ vehicles, delicious dairy products or rye bread that became a kind of trademark of Belarus in Ukraine.
The administration of the Ukrainian capital is ready to suggest holding a series of other similar events in 2009. Such exhibition fairs may become regular in the future. Igor Shovkun expressed hope that the ongoing fair will be just the first page of the extensive bilateral cooperation between Minsk and Kiev.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ukraine Valentin Velichko pointed out to the mutual interest of the Belarusian and Ukrainian sides in the enhancement of the trade and economic cooperation, expansion of the dealer network and establishment of joint ventures and productions; Kazinform cites Belta.
